Overview
Celebrating the imperfect
Judy Bridgewater Snr.’s debut EP entitled ‘I’ll Say Goodbye Then' captures the feelings and life of the artist, taking pleasure in the everyday.
Using Judy’s photographic journal, we cut and pasted elements of her life into something new. Inspired by the likes ot Tracy Emin and Cy Twombly, freestyle lines highlight shapes, and widely spaces letters mark the titles. Edges of scans are left in place, creases and irregularity are cherished.

Leaning into the process
It was very important to us to reflect the honest and down-to-earth nature of the record. So we we used scissors, glue, pens and paper as much as possible. Not only does this add lots of character, it fits into the (brand) identity of the artist. And what a pleasure to think outside of computer screens!
